The literary public and everyone who loves a mystery is invited to a free author signing event at the 14
th Love is Murder Mystery Conference on Friday evening, Feb. 1 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm at the conference site, the Intercontinental O'Hare Hotel in Rosemont.
The conference's featured and many of the more than 80 other registered authors will all be at the event. The 2013 con's featured authors include:
Lee Goldberg, author of the Monk series; Michael Harvey, author of We All Fall Down, The Third Rail, The Fifth Floor and others, co-creator, writer and executive producer of the prime-time Emmy-nominated television series “Cold Case Files™” and a former investigative producer for CBS in Chicago; Bob Mayer, author of more than 50 published titles including the Area 51 series, and the only male author on the Romance Writers of America Honor Roll; and David J. Walker, author of a dozen titles including his latest release, Company Orders and the popular popular Wild Onion, Ltd." series, a private eye series set in Chicago.
All four authors will sign books and meet one-on-one with guests to answer questions and share advice on authoring and publishing novels in the mystery and other genres. There will also be a cash bar, live music, and giveaways.
Love is Murder is the Midwest's premier mystery, romantic suspense, and thriller and dark fiction conference for writers, authors, readers and fans. It takes place every Superbowl weekend at the Intercontinental O'Hare Hotel.
