Welcome to the 11th Annual
Love is Murder Book Club
February 6-8, 2009 | Westin Chicago North Shore, Chicago, Illinois

Love Is Murder wants to hear what YOU have to say.

Announcing the addition of what we hope will become a Friday night tradition. This year we will have a BOOK CLUB DISCUSSION at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 1st.

Our "Ghost of Honor" is Edgar Allen Poe and in his honor three of his classic short stories, Murders in the Rue Morgue, The Purloined Letter and The Gold Bug, are the choices for discussion. The Book Club Discussion will be facilitated by our three "Fans of Honor", Elaine Deak, Diane Durst and Jan Kargol.

Also we will have readings by our featured authors: Tess Gerristsen, Lee Child, Kent Krueger and Barry Eisler

Join us earlier for dinner or later only for the discussion. Feed your body or feed your soul at Love Is Murder.

Here are links to the books being discussed:

Here is a new link to Poe stories with summaries and definitions within the text that can be accessed within the site. This is a good place to read these three short stories without having to resort to Wikipedia every five minutes to understand this genius.
