  Graphic novels and comics are getting a lot of attention lately, talk about how hip they are and that it's now a really cool thing to read and write. But the truth is the comics industry has been doing well for a long time. It's just recently the media has finally noticed.Part of the reason it's getting more attention in our circles is the number of authors who are making extra money, and even making a living writing them. Duane Swierzynski, Victor Gischler, Gregg Hurwitz, David Morrel, Charlie Huston, Jason Starr and many others. There are also some great books coming out based on series from Patricia Biggs, Jim Butcher, Lauren Hamilton and others. Comics are no long just guys in tights saving the world, they cover all the genres and do them quite well. Join hosts Jon Jordan, from Crimpspree Magazine, and Tim Broderick, Vice-President of Mystery Writers of America and himself a graphic novelist, along with Brian Azzarello, an Eisner award winner and multiple New York Times best seller, in a discussion on graphic novels with attention on how they are written and the state of the business.
